The Nature of Borneo

Borneo is the largest island in Southeast Asia and the third largest island in the world after Greenland and New Guinea. It’s divided between Peninsular Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei. Borneo is located at the center of the Malay Archipelago and Indonesia, and it’s considered as part of the geographic region of Southeast Asia. The island is bounded by the South China Sea, Sulu and Celebes seas, the Makassar Strait, and the Java Sea.

Borneo is home to the world's oldest tropical rainforests as home to thousands of endemic animal, reptile, insect and plant species as well as Orang Utans, rhinos, hornbills, macaques, gibbons, tarsiers, and slow loris. Rafflesia, the largest flower in the world is also founded in Borneo. The island of Borneo is most suitable for nature traveler to see the nature of its tropical rainforest.
